Restaurant & Kitchen Electrical

Commercial kitchens draw hard and inspect harder. Equipment circuits, hood interlocks, and GFCI protection done to code the first time.

Commercial electrical rough-in for a kitchen build-out

A commercial kitchen is one of the most demanding electrical environments there is: heavy simultaneous loads, water everywhere, a health inspector, a fire inspector, and a building inspector who all have to sign off.

We wire kitchens to survive all three. Dedicated circuits for each piece of equipment, correct GFCI protection in wet areas, hood and make-up-air interlocks wired the way the mechanical drawings actually call for, and enough capacity left over for the equipment you add in year two.

What this covers

  • Dedicated equipment circuits
  • Hood, fan, and make-up-air interlocks
  • GFCI protection in wet areas
  • Walk-in and refrigeration hookups
  • Health and fire inspection sign-off

Common questions

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — All Covered Electric holds California contractor license #1133116 and is fully insured. You are welcome to verify the license with the CSLB before we start.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Estimates are free. We will look at the job, tell you what it needs, and give you a number before any work begins.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

We offer 24/7 emergency service across Sonoma County. Call (707) 339-0691. If something is actively sparking, arcing, or burning, shut off the breaker if you can do so safely — and if the situation is dangerous, call 911 first.

Do I need a panel upgrade before installing an EV charger?

Sometimes, and it depends entirely on your existing service and what else it is running. An EV charger is a large sustained load. We evaluate your capacity before quoting, and we will tell you if your panel can already handle it.
